My read on the limitless is that if there's a tie, she can choose who dies but doesn't have to pick from the little in the tie.

On the jafar fireball, my guess is it works as a regular kill on anyone else but does extra damage to the village in some way if he can successfully target Aladdin

I would read limitless as basically she can do it every day if needed, basically it's not a one time only power
