How much can we, or can we not, refer to communications with the moderator about the prize and its workings?

as long as you use your own words, and not use any word for word description,  or include anything  that would prove you are being legitimate about your claim, you should be fine.

The rule is there so that you can't show us something that we can then use as proof that you received it from a mod. We should always have doubt. If you break that doubt, then you've probably overstepped what is allowable.
