Why would the wolves ever kill you when you where up for banishment the next day.
It just doesn't make sense.

If I'd declared a trip wire they would in case I used it on one of them.

But, you are either a wolf, or a villager, as wolf, you know they cannot detect you, and as villager, they are always going to use dora to do the kill, so it was useless so, as the outcome was predetermined, no matter which you were are weren't
