Survivors of a nuclear attack are grouped together for days in the basement of their apartment building, where fear and dwindling supplies wear away at their dynamic.

Review

I had watched this movie before and from memory, it was good. Just the kind of movie I would watch normally. Of course when you have to review and score it, you tend to watch it from a more critical eye. I did find most of the characters rather annoying and the human nature of their demise was a bit extreme imo. It was also a bit more gory than I remembered. A few familiar faces in this one who probably had nothing better on the table at the time. Not a bad movie by any stretch but nothing great either. I did like the ending, made it plausible at least. A decent pick which might have scored better had I not seen it before.

Shooting was delayed in part by the eruption of Iceland's Eyjafjallajökull volcano, which paralyzed air travel between Europe and North America.
