Review

Another movie I had seen before and thought it was rather boring the first time, how did it fair on this viewing? Well, no better really. I think it is mostly due to me thinking or rather hoping the movie would be more about the actual crash than the aftermath. Now, the crash is in it and takes up about 20 mins or so, but the rest of the movie is just dull. At least for me. I’m sure many people like the drama part, afterall it is rated quite high on IMDB. One of the more overrated movies imo. I do like a lot of Eastwood's movies, both as actor and director, this is not one of them though. Also Hanks, well I can take him or leave him. Not a great pick unfortunately.

Trivia

Ferry Captain Vincent Lombardi, who was the Captain of the first ferry to reach the airplane, played himself in this film.
