Elle Woods, a fashionable sorority queen, is dumped by her boyfriend. She decides to follow him to law school. While she is there, she figures out that there is more to her than just looks.

Review

When I saw this movie nominated I thought, okay, here we go. I mean I only watch these kinds of movies with the missus. However, being the professional I am, I put it on. The first 10 minutes or so I thought, yeah this is going to be a chore, typical sorority girls, typical jocks. Then when they move to Harvard it gets really good. Kind of left behind a lot of the College cliches and moved to a more watchable movie. Reece’s character is adorable and I think her performance here was nothing less than outstanding, she carries the movie. It does kind of drag a bit in the 2nd act and picks up again to give a satisfying ending. Yeah, I did enjoy this movie a lot more than I expected. A risky but good pick.
