Review

I’ve only ever seen clips of movies from this franchise. They never really interested me. How did it fare, not great to be honest. I do like Johnny Depp, I think he has a wide array of acting skills so if anything was going to do it for me here, I thought it might be his presence. Nope, he was fun for like 10 mins then got boring and eventually annoying and to think that there are 7 or 8 movies in this franchise, I’m sure he is just as annoying in the other movies. Now I will give him some credit, his timing is good and maybe if I was 20 years younger I might enjoy it more. Now let's get to the other characters, Keira Knightley, I have a pet hate for her. It used to be Julia Roberts but Keira has jumped to no. 1 in recent years. And then we have Orlando Bloom, he has got to be one of the worst actors in recent years. The plot, well yeah I mean it is what it is. Anything good about this movie, sure, the production looks superb, can’t fault that. Bad pick, sorry. Glad I watched it though so now I can confirm the opinion I had of it.
