Review

I wasn’t looking forward to this movie at all. I assumed it was some wacky black comedy, which really, it kind of is. I was pleasantly surprised with it, much better than I expected. Now, it doesn’t get a glowing review from me though there are many things to like about it. I do like John Cussack and while John Malkovich is so so, I did like him in this movie. Top marks for the idea, very original and works really well. It is really wack but it doesn’t go completely off the charts. Really good acting I thought from all involved. Cameron Diaz was almost unrecognisable here, well done to the makeup department. Now you are probably wondering why I didn’t score this movie higher, basically because of the genre. For what it is, this movie is up there with the best. I’m really glad this was picked. I had thought of watching it a few times but for some reason or another I never did, now I got my chance. Great pick and unfortunate not to score higher.
