The Fellowship of the Ring Werewolf
I have no words for what just happened this evening!
Actually, I’m taking responsibility for killing a wolf. All by myself!
I have many questions from last night
Assume Benjamin is a wolf
He most know that killing the last hobbit wins the game, otherwise why the play last night. It would also make sense that another wolf would sacrifice if he has some protection. It is a pretty shitting power though as it basically outs 2 wolves at once, killing 1 of them. However, if this is all true, then game is over today at munch, unless Laura really is the hobbit and can protect themselves
Assume Benjamin is not a wolf
Then he must be the hobbit and countered Laura, which means Laura is the wolf. How did the deflection happen though, did he get to pick someone and got very luck picking Vincent or the rand was very lucky to us. I would have thought that is a case like this, the next highest voted player would get hit.
Another scenario is that both Benjamin and Laura are wolves, kill one clear the other. Then we still have a hobbit in play who should stay hidden

The vote was too close for that to happen, the wolves didn't know what way the vote would turn given you and I didn't vote until nearly 9pm. I guess there was some dialogue in the background last night between Benjamin and the mods which is why it took a little longer for the reveal

Yeah I agree with this, he could have voted Ben and it wouldn't have looked suspicious given we knew there are 2 wagons

It is a very strong power if it automatically picked a wolf, I wonder was it randed like Magda may have been and we were just lucky to have hit a wolf

If Benjamin is the hobbit, and knew lynching him would deflect, then surely if Laura is the hobbit then they would know this would happen also. Laura has not mentioned this though, have they?

In the shadow of the night, those evil forces who escaped the reckoning were driven by a festering malice and anger at seeing Lurtz fall. Their fury, a cold and burning coal, demanded vengeance for their fallen. Thus, they strode forth from their dismal lairs, their tread heavy upon the earth, seeking blood under the innocent sky.
In the shadowed verges of the Greenwood, where the light struggled to pierce the ancient eaves, they spied their quarry: Legolas, son of Thranduil, the Sindarin Elf whose watchful eyes held the clarity of starlight. The enemy started toward him.
The keen-eared Elf heard their coming and his hand, quick as a striking serpent, snatched up his trusty longbow. His heart, however, chilled within his breast. As his nimble fingers sought the quiver that should have hung at his hip, they met only empty air.
A sigh, no heavier than a passing breeze, escaped his lips. The doom was upon him, and no swift shaft would turn its tide. With the grace of a weary King accepting the end of his reign, Legolas cast his bow to the forest floor. He knelt there, in the silent glade, and turned his gaze upon the onrushing darkness, accepting the shadow that hastened to embrace him. His solemn duty to the Fellowship came to an end

The playing on the idea that the hobbits were all somehow interconnected and knew who each other were is patent nonsense.

Not sure. I'm hoping he's the last one that's for sure.
If he's not then I'd be looking at either Mick or Will.
And if Benji isn't going to entertain us then I'll prob spend the day looking at them.
At the moment Willie's vote on Laura is suspect however Micks complete non committal vote off wagon actually stands out more tbh

From a story point of view, Willie mentioned both Sauron and Saruman which worries me. While I've watched the movies, and struggled through the books 20 years ago, I don't remember them very well. But I do remember both of those characters being very powerful.

if the above is true, laura was for the chop anyway so had to counterclaim. though that would beg the question, why didnt vincent counterclaim?
