Ooh  Straight Up is a tough one. Good question from Kol, and good spot by Soapy.
Even though it's a song I know well, and enjoy, that opening line isn't very distinctive: it could plausibly come from any number of similar songs. You could know the song but still not get it.

Whereas you're not gonna confuse "We Didn't Start the Fire" for anything else, if you've heard it once you'll know it!

Took me awhile to get that one. I found messing around with various punctuation and pauses helped to get any that weren't always immediately obvious.

While many of the songs took some amount of head scratching to work out, Vanessa Carlton was one of the easiest songs in the whole game for me, hadn't even finished reading the lines, knew it immediately

It helps that I've played that song about a million times over the years, 'tis iconic!
