Just catching up now.
Very happy that you liked all of the songs I submitted, and thank you for organising such an interesting and fun Walrus 
This last category was a bit of a minefield and I was lucky that Marcia Baila has charted high in France when released. And Catherine Ringer, lead singer of the band, is such a charismatic performer.
Also very nice to see LaRoux scoring high. I'm a big fan of her and have all her albums and listen to her a lot - was also very lucky to see her live at Academy a few years ago and she was so good!!

and the funny/irrelevant/useless trivia of the day: it is possible that I discovered Super Bass from this cover that Jay Brannan was playing years ago - I was following him at the time and actually saw him live at the Button Factory a few months after I moved to Ireland, I think he was playing it in that tour.

The Nova Twins gig was unreal. I had forgotten how good they actually are live
