Kind of surprised that most of the songs in the latter stages were relatively new. A good final though I kind of like both songs.
This was my first tournament post Boards migration and as you can see, it was less active than what we were used too. Moving the voting to 24 hour phases helped, but also kind of sucks the soul out of it somewhat. There doesnt seem to be enough folk active here to run live voting anymore. I still have the rock song to run which Im adament to do and hopefully start it next week. As for the future, Im not sure with regards to me hosting. Would appreciate any feedback or suggestions

Thanks for running the tournament Kol, a worthy winner. I suppose the traffic being a lot lower here, for now anyway, is going to impact on something like this. That said, the longer voting period did mean that those who wished to take part were able to do so most of the time. However 24 hours is a long stretch with nothing happening once everyone has voted, so how about maybe 4 or 6 hour slots, which would mean there could be at least a couple of voting rounds each day?

I actually like both songs that made it to the final.
It was funny, at times, seeing two songs I nominated come up against one another and having to pick one of the two.

I definitely get your concerns about running tournaments alright. Hard to generate the same traffic. As well as the new location and the mess that is NuBoards, I do think there's a seasonal affect too of course. People will likely always be less active in games during the summer months, but coupled with the fact that the majority of us are finally experiencing a little bit of freedom again after being locked up for a year and a half, I think you made the right call going for the 24 hour model as I don't think people would've been active on an hourly basis.

Kol, thanks as always for running. I think Galway Girl is a great winner - the song annoys me so much from the overplaying at every wedding, disco, nightclub, funeral - whatever.
Re: the engagement on voting. Personally when there is only 1 hour between choices, work doesn't allow me to check in and vote every hour. Having a few blocks per day as Zaph suggested is a good idea for me, just gives more time to check in on breaks or whatever.
