Sheep World Cup - The Reveal - Necro - 05-10-2022

Hello and welcome everyone to the Sheep World Cup!!

In this game players will be pitted against one another to do combat in sheep format!!

The winners and runners up of each group will move on to contest the knock out stages - again all done via sheep!!

Some of you will be familiar with @aaronjennings previous Sheep Cup which was won by none other than... *coughs* @ShaneU

It's essentially the same premise, the group matches will be played out over two sheep questions and the cumulative score from those questions will form your score in the match.

The top 2 from each group qualify to contest the quarter finals - draw is already predetermined so it will look like this....

Winner Group A VS Runner Up Group B
Winner Group C VS Runner Up Group D
Winner Group B VS Runner Up Group A
Winner Group D VS Runner Up Group C

Sounds complicated but it's not really... and in any case, I'm doing all the work Big Grin

So how do things finish up? Lettuce take a look at the official scores....


   

Group A puts Seph and aaron in the driving seat with healthy score differences... Shane has yet to play however...

Group B sees Neo and Soapy share the points as they cannot be seperated. Leggy takes a trouncing from Lorcand on the other side with ari waiting to pounce...

Buile and Edser record wins in Group C (I think Edser's score is wrong in that screenshot, he should have 14)

dave loses out to Jluv whilst nothing and Liz agree to disagree and share the spoils.

And that leaves our tables looking like this with one match played...

Group A sees Shane and guirienespana share the spoils whilst Seph picks up his second victory!

lorcand also notches a second win in a narrow victory over ari while Neowise also picks up his first win for an unfortunate Leggy....

Group C has Buile grind out a narrow 2 point win over Deja Boo to lead proceedings while Edser and Butty can't be seperated.

And in Group D Homer squeaks home by a single point to defeat dave whilst nothing has a second draw, this time with Jluv!

   

Seph, lorcand and Buile are in good shape after two games and Jluv leads the pack in Group D. aaron, Neo, Edser and Homer are in the qualifying places at the moment but there are still three Matchdays to go...
