Spears - I'm normally bored by the girl/guy with the acoustic guitar in a scenic location/on their couch etc but really enjoyed this one.
Seph - I like Bastille anyways and love No Scrubs so this is pretty much the perfect combo... Not sure how *live* it is though but if it's good enough for Dermot... I mean Kol then it's good enough for me.
Ari - Boyce Avenue were submitted to me before in a Walrus I think and they did well there and it's no different here. I like the arrangement along with the track being a banger anyways.
Aaron - in my bad books yesterday, top of the class today. Absolutely loved that by Morrisette, fantastic voice.
R*SOAPS - another N*Sync track, another winner. This has no right to be so good as yer man is all over the place in terms of pitch but I don't know it sort of adds to it? Definitely very different anyways.
EN's No Diggity just falls outside the top 5 for me.

@Sephiroth_Dude I wasn't too keen on this. Scrubs is a great song and I do like Bastille, but I just wasn't feeling the cover. Sounded like he was singing the song very rushed. Didn't think it worked.
Was surprised that I liked @Leg End Reject submission. Don't like the original song, but I actually enjoyed the cover version.
My favourite were by @ari101 @DejaBoo @E.N. - Loved these covers.

Again at least one of the entries shouldn't be here but because the public are easily swayed by sob stories (cough Leg End cough)
here we are.The songs submitted tonight are...eh. Neither are great and so I go back and forth and review previous entries.
On one hand there's Butty who jointly topped the poll last night with a song I felt was a very safe choice. Tonight an equally "safe" choice has fallen flat on its arse and only two people liked it....
Then we have Liz with four thanks. Similar to yesterday.
You can be on top one week and rock bottom the next and the question is does Butty deserve a reprieve based on yesterday....
In honesty? Off this song? Nope.
I thought my monologue would end up with me voting Liz but I really dislike that All Saints version of Lady Marmalade to be honest.
So tonight Dermot I'll be sending home Butty Brennan.

Having said that I'm surprised I'm not in the vote off after the sound quality was pointed out. My entries were rushed though, although I love my song in the Irish category, so chances are that's when I'll be kicked out.
