Alphabet Sheep - Necro's Revenge - Necro - 02-03-2022

Welcome to another edition of Alphabet Sheep - this time it's personal!!

I have put together a compilation of questions from various sheep, heeps and peehs played on both FoG and on our old homespace, Boards.ie

(with thanks to former hosts @E.N., @nothing, @Baggly, @ari101, @Wichita Lineman, @HeyV, @Butty Brennan and @cee_jay - I've ripped you all off for my own game - SUCKS TO BE YOU  pac )

Below is a list of 26 questions. Standard, run of the mill questions that you've seen a good few times before. BUT, here's the catch this time.

Each of your answers must begin with a different letter of the alphabet!!

They don't need to be in order (ie A, B, C) or anything, you just can't use the same starting letter twice - that will score you 0 if it happens!

To enter simply PM me an un-numbered list of answers to the below 26 questions:

  1. An actor who played Doctor Who
  2. A member of the Simpson Family
  3. A sport
  4. A TV quiz programme
  5. Any former President of the USA
  6. A colour of the rainbow
  7. A famous architectural building in Europe
  8. An ice cream/ice pop to cool you down
  9. An Emirate
  10. An Irish county
  11. A Christmas Film
  12. A film directed by Steven Spielberg
  13. A sitcom
  14. An animated TV show
  15. A member of the Sopranos crime family
  16. A cereal crop grown by farmers
  17. A Petro State
  18. A Formula 1 racing team, past or present
  19. A Cigarette Brand
  20. A Whiskey Brand
  21. A reality TV show
  22. A World Cup host country
  23. A famous landmark
  24. A member of the Paw Patrol
  25. A sign of the Zodiac
  26. The remaining letter

I will keep this open for at least two weeks with a possible reveal on the evening of March 16th (assuming no interruptions such as Necrina having the baby  Confused  )

What is a petro state? Do you mean someone with the surname soprano or just part of the crime gang (I've never watched it)?

ETA: actor by first name or surname? 32 or 26 counties?

ETA2: films/shows counting The or can be worked around?

A petrostate is a nation whose economy is heavily dependent on the extraction and export of oil or natural gas.

Anyone from the Soprano crime gang so not necessarily with the same surname.

Actor can be first name, surname or surname, first name - whichever works!

Films/shows - The can be ignored if you like, or it doesn't have to be!  Big Grin

Another question! Say some people choose John Doe as an answer, but some are using J and some D, will it be counted as the same answer? Ditto for The Show, being T or S!

Doe, John and John Doe would usually be seen as different answers, I assume the same for The Show or Show, The

I'm haunted by teeth from the last one of these 🦷🤣

And if we are giving advice someone should obviously bring up the Chewbacca 🤣

You can use Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo... ask your friends or loved ones, consult a dictionary, research at the library, perform rain dances, human sacrifices (though you may want to keep that last one under wraps)

I did one of these way back, and as the reveal started people were posting about Chewbacca. I can't remember if I ever found out what that was about. 😂

Just for the benefit of new players.... as described by @Rikand - the Chewbacca Rule:

The elite play is to pick R2D2 because the other two selections both begin with C and therefore there could be a split of people picking those which would halve the potential score of the sheep. Hence why its called the Chewbacca rule. Because you should always pick the letter answer that only has one possible answer and not the letter answer that could be split.
