Players can send me anytime their freestyle song nomination (no elimination in this round, just setting out your stall) and you can nominate a category for the game. Whichever categories we don't use in the main game will be utilised in the final

@Kol Do the categories we choose have any influence within the game at any stage?

Or is it just for the purpose of players choosing the categories they would like to hear??

Yeah thatĀ and it saves me having to pick them

As for having an inflluence on the game, well if you top a round, you win a vote for yourself, if you top your own category you win 2 votes. These votes can be used to save yourself if you find you're in the bottom 2.Ā 

As for the catories, try not to male them too obscure. I would probably have to reject something like 1987 African jazz. I will allow one act as a category as long as they have a fair few songs to choose from

Only doing one round at a time this game. It was something mentioned in a previous game so thought we would try it. So as each round is ready I will reveal the category for it. I hope everyone playing will not mention here what category they nominated so we can keep the mystery
