It's common enough in Cork alright, I definitely heard Santy when I was a kid but it didn't really stick with me. I'd always say Santa even if I was talking to young kids (which, given how terrible I am with kids, I try to avoid doing as much as possible anyway!)

I probably would use Santy if I was talking to a Santa-believing child. Though it’s been years and years since that has even happened. Like Homer, I avoid that experience as much as possible.

I believe I use Santa the majority of the time, but there is a risk if presented with a small child at Xmas the question of whether 'Santy' brought them something nice comes out of my mouth Big Grin

Same, it was probably Santy until I was about 7 or 8, after that it's always been Santa.
