Years ago this happened to me, lady I was doing up the house for was clearly into me and then her partner showed up. Fast forward 10 years later and she comes to my shop (I was a retailer so was basically available to the public at all times ) and clearly wants to see what's what. Tells me he's gone etc.
In good at reading people so what I believe happened is this

She liked me and she was having second thoughts about her fella. I be didn't act so I didn't instigate any state change so until life instigated a state change (her becoming single) she didn't act but yes she was casting a net and seeing what her options were.

Married is a wholw different ball game there are people that will forever walk with a limp over married women so give her your contact details and if whenever she decides to act you are still available then that nice but married still acrriwd a lit of weight in Ireland .

There are also those who put on their indicators too early, i.e. there are other turns before the one that they are indicating for. Examples would be coming up to the entrance to a garage or forecourt, or a minor cul de sac turn, when they are actually indicating for a junction. Annoying, and potentially dangerous as well depending on the situation.

Jaysus unlucky Shane, I remember I had only just been put on the electoral register at 18 and got called myself, was down there two days for selection and didn't get picked. Judge excused those not selected for 5 years but I've never been called since!

I haven't been out since Wednesday, and staying in for another few days, was already getting migraines from it being slightly over 20.

It's mid 30s here in the Summer quite often, has reached 40 at times. At those kind of temps along with the humitity you don't want to be outside and inside without aircon is difficult.
What kind of temperatures are you getting back home?

We have 25-28 ish here today (Dublin), it was hot but nice out pre 10am 🤣 since then I've been hiding! Some parts inland may see 30. I'm off to England Thursday, thankfully it's to cool before then: my aunt where I am going had 33 already a few days ago (I haven't asked since 🤣) with possibility of nearly 40 on Tuesday 🥵🌡️🙈

I did 38 once, but I'll pass on doing it again 🤣

I've experienced 40+ a couple of times in the States, which when you struggle at anything over about 22c is not great. It was 41c when we visited the Hoover Dam, and everyone was warned not to touch the hand rails because you'd get burned. We then went on a boat at the bottom of the dam and thought at least it would be cooler there, but it was actually hotter because the heat was trapped by the canyon walls and the dam. That was particularly unpleasant.

I experienced 40 + in Adelaide a few years ago when I was over there for a brother's wedding, very unpleasant, it was really hard to sleep as well as it was 20+ every night.

I love the sunshine but I still have some heat rants.
When I came back to my car after work it was like a furnace and it really stank as all the rubber and plastic had been cooking all day.
Open the car window and you are blasted with hot air, turn the ac to its coldest setting you still get hot air.
Try to have a cold shower and it is a balls, the water is lukewarm.
My biggest rant, we should all get the day off when it gets above a certain temp so we can go to the beach and cool off.
