The programme everyone uses for SHEEP etc, lovingly called the sheepulator, can be downloaded from https://github.com/blue-sun-tech/SheepScore/releases/tag/2.1

Scroll down to assets and download Sheep.Score.2018.v2.1.zip

It's pretty self explanatory I think, but I'll edit this post tomorrow when I'm on the laptop with a high level

So you want to run an MSPaint game?

Well good news, all it takes is enthusiasm, a little organisation and players!

You'll need to set up a sign up thread and put the call out for describers and painters. A describer will describe an image in 10 words, the painter will interpret this into the next image. You can, of course, change these to change up and suit your game.

Group one describer and one painter to form a link. I personally suggest a minimum of 6 links, but go with how few or many you prefer! You can group links at random, as they sign up, if they have preferences on who with or when they are available. This gives you (and the players) a nice organised list of who is next, how many links are left and general game progression.

When you're happy with how many links you have, you can close sign ups or you can leave it open as the game continues. You'll continue to use the sign up thread to update players on progress.

The next part is all done over PMs, I suggest setting up a folder to keep track of each description and paint as they come in.

Choose a starting image, as simple or complex as you like, and send to the first describer, along with game instructions. They'll reply with their description.

Copy the description and PM to the first painter, along with game instructions. Usually we discourage use of clip art or existing images, with an emphasis on free hand paints, but don't restrict what program (or real life media) is used.

In a regular game, there's usually a 48 hour slot for each person, but you can specify your own limits or deadlines in your sign up thread.

In a speed game, there's no exact time limit except as quickly as possible. I recommend turning on email notifications for PMs unless you are online all weekend (like me!) to help with the quick turn around.

For the reveal, start a new thread in the MSPaint section and pop a link into the sign up thread and game announcements.

You can pre-plan the entire reveal using a word document or notepad, as long as you put them in order with associated players. Make sure to use forum mark-up (though as long as you have image links, you can do this on the fly). Or you can wing it and just copy/paste from PMs as you go!

There's no winners or losers in MSPaint, so you don't need to worry about scores or picking the best, it's all about the fun of seeing what happens!
