We got our first choice primary school for our daughter Big Grin

We didn't originally, it's oversubscribed, but people obviously declined their offers so she got off the waiting list

That concept of waiting lists for schools was always bizarre to me as there was never any trouble getting us or even the two older boys into creche, schools etc

However.... With our soon to be one year old he's on a waiting list to get on the waiting list for the community creche in town.

Actually, waiting list was the wrong phrase as they've been abolished. She was on a reserve list

There's five primary schools in Maynooth but we had a clear first choice and that's the one that was oversubscribed!

There's two gaelscoils, but I have no Irish and my wife very little
There's then two single sex Catholic schools, but as we're atheists with a boy and a girl we didn't want them
So we were down to one very quickly! Luckily we got it Smile

So the eldest of our broods 10th is coming up in November and I wanted to take him to an Arsenal game around that time. Having recently signed up with the local supporters club i said I'd chance my arm and apply for tickets for the Sevilla and Burnley home games on 8th and 11th respectively.

I've only gone and gotten approved for tickets for both games today 😁😁😁

Absolutely delighted as it will be the middle child's first live Arsenal experience as well!!!
