My wife and I saw it for our second date, the first time she came to see me in Bristol, 9 years agoManaged to get tickets to the Lion King after this, for Jan 8th. Now it's being reduced to 50% and they're doing it first come first served. I agree that that's fair, but it means we'll definitely get cancelled Yeah, I saw that, I bought one for a quieter midweek date at the end of the run but still think it was over half way sold when I did I tried to send them a query about whether they are altering the remaining seating also (their online help form seems not to be working ) - I would rather opt into a refund now than find myself relocated somewhere less desirable for the money paid. It'll be an empty upper circle while the front of the stalls will still be full, which seems to defeat the purpose RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - ari101 - 07-12-2021 (07-12-2021, 08:27 PM)E.N. RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - ShaneU - 07-01-2022 The Marvel movies are so oversaturated now I find it hard to care. Thought they were finished with Endgame but they make too much money I guess RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - jp liz v1 - 07-01-2022 RIP Sidney Poitier RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - cee_jay - 08-01-2022 I watched Deadly Cuts on Netflix this evening, really, really enjoyed it. RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - Wichita Lineman - 10-01-2022 I watched 'In The Heat Of The Night' over the weekend. Brilliant performances by both Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger. RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - nothing - 10-01-2022 Watched Encanto on Saturday, brilliant, cried like a baby. Watched The Matrix Revolutions yesterday, really enjoyed it! The Eternals is only on disney plus since Wednesday, I'm not really a cinema person so usually end up pirating or steaming. The waiting is only annoying when I accidentally come across spoilers RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - ari101 - 15-01-2022 Yeah I want to try do them in order (failing nicely so far ) I did watch Wanda Vision, Loki and Shang Chi But I haven't watched all of Falcon & the Winter Soldier, Eternals, or the new Spiderman. Really looking forward to Thor 4 and Dr Strange 2 so I want to get up to date before they come along. RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - Tigger - 16-01-2022 So if you have prime video do me a flavor Select Locke (greaak movie Coleman and hardy what's not to like ) and tell me what happens RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - cee_jay - 16-01-2022 The new Spiderman I thought was great. In the cinema, the showing I went to was seemingly full of Spiderman fans and there were two or three times during the movie that people cheered and clapped! Wouldn't be my favourite from the MCU but no real complaints either Lasted half an hour into Eternals this evening before switching off. Dull, generic and boring. Plot and character development rubbish. A love scene after 30 minutes between two characters who we barely even know their name, let alone give a shyte about their relationship made me laugh. The main focus of this film seems to be to get as many actors from different racial backgrounds as possible so we can market this in as many countries as possible, that and put Angelina Jolie in a bodysuit doing CG acrobatics for the trailer. There's another two hours left in this movie and I'm kind of morbidly curious how bad it gets, might put it back on if I feel like punishing myself. And for the record I do enjoy the Marvel movies that I've seen, even if I think they are way overrated. Shang-Chi in particular was great RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - jp liz v1 - 26-01-2022 (16-01-2022, 12:20 AM)Tigger Wrote: So if you have prime video do me a flavor Is the Locke with Tom Hardy driving around? RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - jp liz v1 - 29-01-2022 Jason Momoa is joining the cast of the Fast and Furious franchise, the Fast Saga tweeted Friday. "The Fast Fam keeps getting bigger. Welcome, Jason Momoa. #F10," the tweet said. There's no word yet on who Momoa's character will be. Fast and Furious 10 and 11 are set to close out the movie franchise saga, following F9, which debuted in June and grossed $726 million at the box office worldwide. RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - ShaneU - 29-01-2022 I watched the rest of Eternals, I wish I hadn't. Also watched Alita: Battle Angel which I really enjoyed. Was fun but very forgetable. Silly plot, silly characters, bit like the others in that respect. If you're a fan of the series or indeed the genre, you will likely watch it at some point. Spoiler
As an aside, Courtney Cox hasn't aged very well at all, looks like she has had some work done also. RE: Lights, Camera, Action! - Sephiroth_Dude - 19-02-2022 (18-02-2022, 12:25 AM)E.N.
