A suggestion @nothing, is it possible to edit the OP each day with the new questions?

I'm going through the full thread looking for today's questions and this will get old very quickly as the thread gets longer.

Alright Rustlers, pull up a comfy chair around the fire for an evening of literary delights (aka the Book Round reveal)

Can someone pop on the kettle and grab some goodies?

RE: Sheep Rustling 5 - The Blitz - nothing - 01-11-2022

Reds are on a field trip to their local library

Blues are browsing in Waterstones

who will take out this round?!

RE: Sheep Rustling 5 - The Blitz - Mam of 4 - 01-11-2022

Kettle on, lots of goodies left here , including just one chocolate muffin 🧁🧁

RE: Sheep Rustling 5 - The Blitz - nothing - 01-11-2022

First up, it’s Irish Authors, with the ladies from the Reds

and the gentlemen from the Blues

RE: Sheep Rustling 5 - The Blitz - nothing - 01-11-2022

Reds are off to a good start with their Female Irish Authors, mentioning just 3 between them, and scoring on 2. I’m having flashbacks to having to read all 3 for a book club many years ago and nearly defenestrating the books.

Maeve Binchy: jluv, leggy, ari, EN (4)
Cecelia Ahern: Kol, Necro, cj (3)

Only liz aces here with Marian Keyes.

A very decent 7.

RE: Sheep Rustling 5 - The Blitz - nothing - 01-11-2022

The Blues don’t kick off quite as well, with 5 Male Irish Authors mentioned, and only scoring on 2 as well.

Roddy Doyle: lorc, homer, seph (3)
James Joyce: guiri, dave (2)

Mam aces with Brendan Behan and aaron with Samuel Beckett.
Neo misreads the question and aces with Colin Farrell, but swiftly changes to Oscar Wilde, unfortunately another miss!

A score of 5, not as fruitful as the Reds, but it’s early doors yet.

RE: Sheep Rustling 5 - The Blitz - nothing - 01-11-2022

Next up, it's fictional schools versus fictional countries.

[Image: i-wish-my-country-was-as-cool-as-your-co...i-wish.gif]

RE: Sheep Rustling 5 - The Blitz - nothing - 01-11-2022

Next for the Reds, a Fictional School. Unfortunately if you didn’t choose the school where The Boy Who Lived attended, you were out of luck!

Hogwarts: jluv, Kol, cj (3)

Everyone else aces, but with some fun suggestions; EN goes with the classic BBC Grange Hill, ari heads stateside for the Saved by the Bell’s crews Bayside, Necro checks out the ladies at St Trinians. Two used future questions as inspiration, alas the rest of the team didn’t look in that direction and it’s more aces as Leggy ventures to Enid Blyton’s ITV adaptation of Malory Towers, and liz heads to Roald Dahl’s Crunchem Hall to hang out with Matilda.

A measly 3 for this question, and with a single sheep, a risk of rustling.

RE: Sheep Rustling 5 - The Blitz - nothing - 01-11-2022

It’s Fictional Countries from the Blues, and not much better of a performance with quite a few aces here. A single sheep for the land of the 6 inch people,

Lilliput: mam, guiri (2)

More fun suggestions in these aces, lorcand heads off with Peter Pan to Neverland, dave is searching for Vibranium in Wakanda, aaron is starving in Panem, Homer is stateside with his red cloak in Gilead, Neo is escoring a prince from Zamunda and while Seph fawns over a princess from Genovia!

A tiny 2 here, another single risky sheep.

Not going to lie. I had to look up the meaning of defenestrating 😞 every day is a school day..
