The voting system will be interesting given there's less opportunity for people to gang up on others, unless the Traitors wait until later in the voting period to see how play is progressing and then jump on top.

So the round table discussions start at 6pm and that’s when I can openly say that I’m going to vote for X. Does that mean before 6pm I can’t say I’m voting for X?

I think it means after 6pm we all have to start posting about who we think we are going to vote for, everyone needs to debate it and then later on in evening we actually cast our vote. I think you can still call someone out at anytime though doesn't have to be after 6pm.

Yeah I'd imagine it's basically same as the show. When you sit at the round table it's your chance to get answers but you can still query and poke and form opinions and give opinions.

voting only takes place between 8:30 and 9:30,  i guess any mention of declarations before 8:30 will not count.

This is my reading of it also. The discussion starts at 6:30, but you have to make your VOTE XXXX after 8:30, and once posted it is locked in then.


I'm getting a lot of SQL errors on the thread today. A few times now I have tried to catch up but get a MyBB SQL error.

How do we play this when someone wins a prize? The traitor can lie about any prize or how they use it, but should the faithful declare?

If we're in teams and one player wins a shield that could in effect protect the whole team of it's not declared until after it's been used. Thoughts?

Based on the show the prizes could be a shield, a dagger or a seer peek. I don’t know why we’d be split into teams and what we’d have to do if we were but if someone gets a shield they either say nothing or we all do a Spartacus on it. Dilemma for traitors would be the same either way.

I'm referring to the last traitors game here when players were grouped into teams. Player x on team a wins a shield, Clorcandia announces a player on team a won. If player x doesn't declare the traitors will likely kill in team b as they won't want to risk targeting the protected player.

I don't follow your first line, I think Lilly was always a ww account here.

The games mod divided us into teams in the last game, the traitors buried some players alive etc. You can see the previous game here, but Clorcandia might have new games up his kilt for this one.

No minimum posting but everyone needs to vote or 2 misses and out of the game. I'd be keen to see people getting involved and not being sneaky hiding in the shadows. Would have to assume that there'll be some Traitors hoping to keep under the radar and might keep quiet in the beginning.

And even just posting this has drawn suspicion it seems. Just going to get involved where possible really, but have often seen traitors/wolves play quiet games and get far along before drawing any notice.

We've done this for some recent wolves games to prevent brand new players being yeeted night one but not sure if we have antly actual newbies either way.

Def possible a new player could be a traitor as well.

I'd frown upon a non newbie claiming to be one tbh.
Whether faithful or traitor, gives newbies a chance to get into the game a bit more, ask a few questions and hopefully come back again to play.

Like the oth shave said we have an unwritten rule the last few days of a new player amnesty to give them a good go in the game and help grow the number of players that return. It only covers the first vote - after that they are all fair game!

Yea I get the rationale on giving new players a bit of time to get into the game. I guess it's the unwritten rule that we should trust everyone to be honest when claiming to be a newbie.
