Come to think about it, I haven't seen Nightmare before Christmas either... Are there any films worth watching in the coming season? Yeah, pretty much all the movies you've mentioned there About 5 mins into Die Hard you'll see why it's a Christmas movie as well! RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - lorcand1990 - 15-10-2021 Elf is one of my favourite Christmas movies. I'd put a vote in for Bad Santa too! RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - E.N. - 15-10-2021 If you've netflix and didn't see Klaus I'd highly recommend it, really great animated film Quote:After proving himself to be the worst student at the academy, a postman is sent to a frozen town in the North where he discovers a reclusive toymaker named Klaus. RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - ari101 - 15-10-2021 Die Hard is my favourite Christmas movie and Love Actually maybe! RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - Zaph - 15-10-2021 People always forget that Die Hard 2 is also a Christmas movie. There are those who recognise Die Hard as a Christmas movie, and there are those who are wrong. Spending time with family. RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - Leg End Reject - 15-10-2021 Nothing says Christmas like "Yippee Ki Yay, motherfucker" The defence rests. I doubt Action Bruce originally signed up to do a predominantly 'Christmas' Flick, but I suppose any film set in the season can be considered a Christmas film - like "While You Were Sleeping" - I never considered it a Christmas film (the main focus being on something else entirely), but others do.... I suppose, "Christmas is in the eye of the beholder" Thanks for the movie advice everyone, I shall see definitely see what comes available to view, this season! Watch Blades of Glory and The Elf and you'll change your mind about Ferrell, he'll never win an Oscar because he'll always be typecast, but his performance in The Elf was a hilarious mixture of naivety and lack of self-awareness.
