what i have so far.

countess. it can't be random that all the traitors are in team 2.

moe. prove that i'm a traitor.

still undecided between that but the both player cant be in team two because of random is enticing, if not a fallacy
It's not exactly what I said. I said I know it's random, but what are the chances:
Quote:
Random, I know, but chances of zero scum on team 1?"

what you said and what i said are the same.

is random really random? lets bet our game on the fact random is not really random at all.

there is an equally random chance that both were on team 1 or that the were evenly distributed among both team.

Its why i mentioned that it was a fallacy argument.

Its should have no bearing on my decision, but it is quite attractive. boo

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Gordon the Cook - 20-01-2023

okay, i know i'm fical, but i'm changing my intentions of where i'm voting.
I plan to vote now for moe.

I'm still mulling thru it, but ... thats where i am.

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Countess Markievicz - 20-01-2023

well, at least it feels like you're not working together, I can't see the two of you playing along with me just to humor me.

Can you explain this one to me? You're betting the game on what?

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Countess Markievicz - 20-01-2023

Only the slightly less than even odds that there was no traitor on Team 1, who lost both competitions.

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Countess Markievicz - 20-01-2023

On* not only, on.

I'm betting the game. that both you and countess are not both traitors.

If you are both traitors, then the game is over already, and this last 2 hours has been pointless.
If on the other hand, it was not pointless, the faithful's have a chance.
If i vote out the traitor, yay, if not, I'm doin a coin toss with the traitor for the game.
simple as that .

I mean if you're willing to take a coin flip to win a game thats risky. Are we certain that's the case?

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Gordon the Cook - 20-01-2023

By Countess voting Moe, I'm sure you are not traitors. So, yes. I am certain that is the case.

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Gordon the Cook - 20-01-2023

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Gordon the Cook - 20-01-2023

Are we sure if the wolf isn't caught in this vote, the game keeps going? There's no parity so we end with 1 v 1 and a coin toss?

@Necro could you confirm

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Gordon the Cook - 20-01-2023

the game only ends when we unanimously decide to . its in the rules.

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Countess Markievicz - 20-01-2023

well, if one player chooses not to end the game, the game continues to another vote, presumably you'd cross-vote, so then a coin toss

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Necro - 20-01-2023

In the case of a 1v1 traitor v faithful scenario the traitor will be declared the victor as it is not possible to banish all traitors before the game ends. My apologies this specific scenario was not included in the OP

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Moe the Innkeeper - 20-01-2023

Right well it hasn't changed my opinion

Vote countess

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Countess Markievicz - 20-01-2023

Not sure if Moe is holding off till the last second to force a coin toss today.

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Countess Markievicz - 20-01-2023

RE: Round Table Discussion Thread - Gordon the Cook - 20-01-2023

Oh no! Gordon, what are your thoughts? I presume we both must be Faithful otherwise the game would have been called for the last traitor, right>?
