Magda - William
Benjamin - Ina
Wendy - Betty
Ina - Betty
Pat - Rhoda
Vincent - Edward
Frank - Mick
Betty - Wendy

Who's everyone else on

Magda switched to me at the last minute.
Wendy said it was Betty or Edward
Vincent said Edward but was going to look at William.
Maeve voited Betty
and Vincent voted Edward.

Is that everyone?

Vincent for Edward
Laura for Rhoda
Prada for Edward
Wendy for Betty

So that is 2 for Edward, 2 for me and 2 for Betty. What happens if there is a tie? Not sure the opening post mentioned that. What is the convention?

RE: The Fellowship of the Ring Werewolf - Frank the Tank - 13-10-2025

At the time the thread was quiet. It picked up after that.

You know there were around 50 posts in the last hour and a half right? I don't like this theory that gets floated that if it's quiet there's no wolves in trouble.
I do think in general the theory holds up. Think it was busy tonight however.

Usually last vote cast is the deciding one.

RE: The Fellowship of the Ring Werewolf - Vernon the Ranger - 13-10-2025

Things got a bit chaotic for me this evening. When I realised I wouldn’t be around, I cast my vote quickly. I’d wanted to read through the thread again before deciding, but time wasn’t on my side so I stayed true to my earlier thoughts and voted for Pat.

It doesn't though. The last game was dead around lynches and the wolves swept the board😂

Most of the time the activity is nervous villagers unsure of their vote which is natural. The wolves can coordinate off thread so don't need to post heavily. Also people always tend to think this so they'll stay quiet and hope people switch because of it.

RE: The Fellowship of the Ring Werewolf - Ectoplasm - 13-10-2025

The winds of Middle-earth carry a secret this night…
One among you has been struck down, though their true nature remains veiled.
Shadows and light mingle, and the world holds its breath.
Soon, the hidden path of the fallen will be revealed —
but for now, only the stars bear witness to the death of Betty the Beggar

RE: The Fellowship of the Ring Werewolf - Rhoda the Spinster - 13-10-2025

ok i will start again

Magda - Rhoda
Benjamin - Ina
Wendy - Betty
Ina - Betty
Pat - Rhoda
Vincent - Edward
Frank - Mick
Betty - Wendy
Prada- Edward
Vernon- Pat
Laura- Rhoda
Maeve- Betty

So we are just missing William's vote. Is that right?
So 3 for me, 3 for Betty, 2 for Ed, and 1 for another assortment of people.

Exactly. You said it in your first sentence.

It was quiet around lynch because wolves weren't in danger so need to create discussion to move votes

Flavour my dear, so far we have only begun our journey and nothing is clear, only that Gollum is the SK and we are likely among several wolves. So far a lot of postulating and guessing has occurred but nothing of note. Seeking to discredit me for simply joining in the fun would be a fools errand. We need to watch ourselves and hope that whomever among us are the hero's can work to prevent the wolves from harming us.

It is unclear what abilities may be at play, the Lord of the rings central basis is around the ring of power but each race also has skills or abilities that may play a role here. Could there be an elf character that can see through disguises and reveal roles? Maybe someone is Aragorn and can either defend allies or kill foes.

Either way we should watch closely and not cast random aspersions over flavour posts.
This one.

RE: The Fellowship of the Ring Werewolf - Rhoda the Spinster - 13-10-2025

Arghh, how are we meant to know if we have been successful if we can't find out if they were faithful or traitor.

Go on @Prada the Seamstress I am listening. If wolves are not in danger, then why would they want to move votes? I like the concept though.

Utterly baseless accusation Wendy just coz I can't count. I was going off Ina's list and counting the additional posts.

We do find out though, its in the rules. Even though there were very few rules, 'autopriest' was mentioned, so we will learn the name role and abilities of the lynched.

A great cry echoes through the realms of Men.
The shadow that once cloaked the land shudders and breaks.

The Witch-king of Angmar, dread servant of Sauron, Lord of the Nazgûl,  has been cast down by the will of the Free Peoples.
No blade of mortal man struck this blow, yet justice was done by many hands united in purpose.

His shriek fades into the night, and with it a darkness lifts,
though the war for Middle-earth is not yet won...

To clarify before this becomes Pat 2.0

Previous game, thread was eerily quiet before lynch time. Votes were declared on thread. No wolves in danger so they stay quiet. No need to create discussion if they are in the clear.

Tonight. Busier thread. Votes split across a few posters. I possibly think a wolf in danger and other wolves on thread pushing discussion to get a clearer picture.

Others will think different, indecisive village, I'm of different opinion
