AFAIK, @3d4life, who is active this year in the Chain Games, did not come from Boards. I stand corrected on that though.

FOG was set up by Gamers from Boards coz of the problems with the Boards changes, and there are still cross references. But still separate.

FOG is a separate website - do not have to be verified on Boards.

The majority of members here originally came from Boards,-some closed their accounts on Boards. There are a few who are new.

so, if no one else lets them in, i eventually have to, then keep an eye out for the next few days, awaiting their spam post, and purging them.

but, who ami i to judge what silly name people are allowed to choose to sign up to a web forum.

on here, there is 3 accounts awaiting activation. i do be afraid, if i activate these accounts, will they post a spam post.

spam bots just try to get an account in the system, and once succesful, post a spam post. Thats is there payload.

spam bots are different than standard bots.

bots. Most of them crawl the internet and provide the data for search engines. Others provide data for large language models that chatbots and other AI use.
