Winner  @Zaph
OK, rather than the usual best whatever, for a change the worst film you've ever paid in to a cinema to see.

The Last Duel https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4244994/

I only went to see this because a friend of mine was an extra in it and I didn't even see him. It's the same story told three times through different perspectives in a love triangle with minor differences and by the third time around I wanted them all to die.

(And guys Episode IX is by far the worst of the new Star Wars Trilogy)

So I've heard, but never actually seen that one... I used to head along to the Star Wars movies with friends who are fans of the franchise (despite never being particularly fond of any Star Wars, including the original trilogy, for the most part they had been watchable), but after enduring The Last Jedi, I vowed never to sit through a Star Wars movie ever again...

I think it's safe to say that the last three Star Wars films are all best forgotten.  As a fan from when the first film came out who was let down badly by the prequels, I had high hopes that the final three films would make amends, but ultimately we were let down again.  I don't think they're as bad as the prequels, but when we got to see how good Rogue One was it feels like a huge missed opportunity.  Nostalgia plays a huge part in it and we all wanted the films to be as enjoyable as the original trilogy of our childhood, but it's hard to imagine anyone who saw the prequels or final three films as a kid being as enthralled by them as we were when the original trilogy hit the screens.

Funnily enough Rogue One is the only film (or TV show) of the Star Wars franchise that I genuinely hold in high regard...

I saw the original trilogy at home on VHS when I was about 12 (pretty much right before The Phantom Menace came out) and I thought they were fine and watchable enough, but never had that childhood connection with them that many seem to... Only ever went along to any of the prequels or recent films because it was always an event outing with a group of friends... Morbid curiosity led me to check out The Mandalorion and Obi-Wan, but gave up on both early on...

Star Wars is one of those worlds that I want to like, but it keeps letting me down and like a fool I just keep going back...
Off the top of my head, this predictable boring Neeson action film fits the bill.

Never bothered with the other movies after VII, except for Rogue which was good.

Some of my friends, hardcore SW fans, nearly stopped talking to me for dissing VII
It would take a lot for me to leave the cinema mid movie. This one almost did it.

I haven't seen many movies. I saw Roxanne on TV once (thought Steve Martin overplayed the part) but I thanked it, since I have atleasr seen it. I would like to see Gnomio & Juliet, so I did the same there... but that is all I know of the films (sorry).
I'm not a huge movie person either so won't know many of these.

You up next the returning @Wichita Lineman you can choose
Seeing as I've returned recently after an extended break lets have any movie about a comeback and it can be a comeback for a character or maybe one of the actors, director etc etc. Like -
