Did anyone wonder why there were exactly 13 questions?

Or why some of them were so strangely worded?

Allow me to reveal the method behind the madness…



I left three clues in the opening post of the sign-up thread, each of which were italicised:

“read down through the questions” … “the clue is in the name” … “my own initial set of answers”.

I also mentioned the Alphabet, and The Jennings Code at various points in that thread


All of which were hinting at one conclusion:





The first letter of every question spelled out my name… and so did my answers


My favourite clue was in response to Lorcan’s question, asking what my answer would be to “Name a German football team”

I said Nurnberg because then both question and answer would start with the same letter, just like all of my other answers. And I said Union Berlin because Berlin is… the capital 

Ha ha, fair play

I now regret a few of my answers 🤣

The second question had, by my reckoning, about 6 decent options - although nowadays I suppose all 12 are valid . Did either of these fictional characters inspire your answers?

June and May are leagues ahead of the other answers. Three people unfortunately have their points wiped out. No I’m not joking, this is not April Fool’s Day
