It's 4pm, the sky is an ominous purple, though thankfully a bit less spooky than it has been. Elmo, still blondified, wearing another of his many nemes, is gleefully waving the flag of Egypt. Pizza Church has pepperoni slice stained glass windows and is roofed, maybe inadvisably, by more pizza. No cross, just a round of dough, on the spire on the steeple. The Halloween juggler wears a carved pumpkin on his head (or IS a pumpkin man…) and juggles 4 of his children!

The penultimate piece tonight sees an unimpressed, nemes wearing, blond Elmo pondering his life choices as he watches a short goblin clown juggling 5 pumpkins (each of which is bigger than his head) in the church yard of the First Crust Mission which proclaims "Deep Pan Sinners Repent & Taste Stone Baked" with another pepperoni slice showing up as a feature. The bats over graveyard in the background adds to the spookiness with a dark purple sky.

Tonight's final piece is, if I had to have one, my absolute favourite! The sky, a lighter shade than previous, is itself spooky with a damn creepy cloud face. Elmo has become Sphynx-mo, built by ancient Egyptians, in the valley of the Kings, near a grand pyramid. Church of the Pizza sign has a sermon on "Man Cannot Live on Garlic Bread Alone", with a pizza pointed arrow showing the way. The church building has fabulous stained glass windows including one shaped as pizza, big wooden doors and slices of pepperoni and green pepper topped pizza adorn the roof. Michealanglo is on his way to worship, perhaps out of character with his partying persona, though he is dating a juggling witch! She's keeping 7 balls in the air, probably our most skilled juggler, and is one a pokeball?! While she's distracted, her cat has decided to take a spin on her broomstick and might be regretting it…

Wow that's brilliant..the Elmo.. fantastic..

Who could possibly have sketched that masterpiece??? 😆 (There were lots I couldn't guess but that one I have my suspicions about 😉)
Sensational, but all the works tonight were too - there were some great commonalities and some fantastic differences.
Thanks for breaching the bounds of experimental consent to bring us this interesting take on MS Paint!!!

I have randomised the list of Painters, so it won’t matter if you were first, last or anywhere in between in sending your image along to me, there’ll be no shaming here, especially as you all worked so hard on them.
With an 11 month old we watch a lot of elmo and have toys of him. Your paint of elmo is brilliant Deja, incredible detail

I loved that everyone had pepperoni pizza.
I loved that only 1 person forgot Elmo, and only 1 didn't make him yellow, and how often the nemes was used to indicate Egyptianness.
I loved that the interpretation of a spooky sky had a lot of rain clouds, lightening, bats and birds.
I loved that so many churches had steeples and stained glass.
I really really loved the interpretations of a Halloween juggler that ranged from the word Halloween being what was juggled to Halloween itself being the juggler and all the spooky costumes/creatures between.
And I think what we've really learned from this is that it's the describers who throw us off every time

Our purple cloudy sky is very effective and creepy, our blond dyed Elmo is dancing like an Egyptian a la 80s hit from The Bangles. We have a juggler who gives me Bosco opening credits vibes, who is literally juggling HALLOWEEN, I love that creativity! Pizza church is far off in the background, with another pepperoni construction, with separate dome and steeple, and a four sided star (a la 4 star pizza perhaps!?) complete with priest observing the madness from the door.I've seen them all now and the juggler that is juggling the word halloween is my favourite anon piece of the night. No idea who did it but that is so clever, made me laugh
Well done everyone that took part, I genuinely wouldn't be able to do this as my paint skills would give me anxiety (give me endgame of WW any day of the week over painting, and that's saying something)

Ah @lorcand1990 there were a few very anxious, but tbh there wasn't a single bad one, they all hit the brief and I'd have loved to have seen what their descriptions might have been... A game with multiple descriptions might be an interesting experiment!

I knew there was something funky with that description! I did wonder how it had become so strange even though it was early in the game when I received it
I love how many people used pizza slices for triangular steeples... great minds think alike
Thanks for the game Nothing and Deja, and well done to all the painters

Great game nothing! How kind of you to share credit for your idea, but in all fairness I just played along like everyone else. Sorry my description sounded so complicated though (eek). Well done to all the great artists, brilliant representations, and lol at the churchy pizza puns! ...awesome.
