5?! Ok... Field related words...
Green, ground, fence almost certainly
Having a field day? That feels like a phrase, so day possibly
Track maybe, as in track and field sports events
Yard, as in American football fields have yard lines, but that's a stretch
Definitely not skyscraper. Likely not novel. Stream is a stretch. Doctor, field doctor? Also maybe nurse. Is that a military thing? New york, no. Robin, probably not. Triangle, most fields are rectangular, so unlikely. King, revolution, head - all unlikely. Aztec, no. Ball, maybe. Mount, probably not. Bow, unlikely.
Ok...
GREEN
If correct,
GROUND
If correct,
FENCE
Then I need to think more
Green and ground correct
Fence neutral
Ok well misery is a novel by Stephen King so I'm thinking novel and king are two.. the only one the stands out to me for the 3rd is skyscraper
What ya think aaron?
Wow Nothing, those were the exact three words I would have locked in as well, that's surprising
Fully agreed on Misery by Stephen King, I had almost the exact same sentence written out, but you got there before me
I don't know anything about the story though, so if the 3rd clue is related to the plot, then I haven't a clue
If the 3rd clue is non-King related, then I'm drawing a bit of a blank
A Doctor or a Nurse might deliver bad news, Revolution is usually because of miserable conditions, you might Bow your Head. They all seem like a bit of a stretch though
We'll lock in NOVEL
And assuming that is right, we'll lock in KING

both correct.
Yeah I'm definitely not 100% on the last one.. I'd guess skyscraper because 9/11 was a miserable event in history, that's the only one I think it could be but I could be wrong
It's really tricky being Captain, and you're screaming at your team that, no, no, you had it, nooooo not that one, damn etc

If you're not sure, you can pass and save it for later when the board is cleared a bit more
I don't know what the best strategy is in this spot, is it better to risk it and play, or play it safe and pass?
The way I see it, Nothing still has 3 words to guess for Field, and will get another clue next anyway. So given how far behind we are, if you want to risk Skyscraper, I'll back it, because I think we'll have to take a few gambles to win

Ok sure let's go for it! At least if we blow it we can use the 'it's our first day' excuse
Play SKYSCRAPER

Blue word 🤣
As promised
Ugh!
And I think I just realised what the word was, literally the minute you posted our guess, I though if something
Damn, that's frustrating
Nothing only gets two guesses at this stage, right? One for Isosceles, and one extra?
(12-10-2022, 05:41 PM)aaronjennings Wrote: [ -> ]Nothing only gets two guesses at this stage, right? One for Isosceles, and one extra?
Yep
Thanks Reds
TRIANGLE
If correct
TRACK
(12-10-2022, 05:41 PM)aaronjennings Wrote: [ -> ]Nothing only gets two guesses at this stage, right? One for Isosceles, and one extra?
thats correct
play passes
So, I think the Misery clue was Nurse, because I think it's about... well... a nurse
Historical, presumably Aztec and Revolution... what would the last one be?

Ah feck hahaha
Yes to aztec and revolution.. possibly Bow as in Bow and arrow or else Robin for Robin hood
Let's play AZTEC and then REVOLUTION and see how we are
If we can guess the third then we get an extra guess for nurse lol
Aztec and revolution both correct
I'd guess Robin as the 3rd answer, IMO. I mean, there is debate as to whether he was real or fuctional, but he seems like the strongest 'historical' connection on the board to me
As in Robin Hood? That's a good shout imo

Yeah I'm on board with that, I'd lean for Robin over bow
Let's play ROBIN
robin is neutral
Robin is neutral
Play passes
Oh god, was that the right decision...
Ok, if correct, DAY
Correct ... we win
wanna keep guessing reds or will i throw up the end board?
Congrats Blues
I'm assuming NURSE was the one we missed with the Misery clue
Besides Bow, I honestly don't know what the Historical clue was, unless Lorcan figured it out?

No I'd agree with those!
Put us out of our MISERY please
nurse is right, i have the answers here and i'm not sure, probably just a pressure clue.
MOUNT was your last one.
Historical - could make arguments for mounting horses, chopping off heads, a fancy ball, new york
