That was such a weird night for me. I was in Brussels with work. Watched it in an Irish bar but it was mostly French in there, after the match they just kept coming up to me to apologise! A lot bought me beer

Also that night, Algeria (I think) qualified and there's a big Algerian population there. They were driving round honking horns, hanging out of sunroofs waving flags. I was outside with random France fans soaking it up, still seething on the inside but kind of loving the atmosphere, all very surreal
