ROUND 1B, Q1 of 3

We continue Round 1, moving on to the B-bracket with a question about Irish Eurovision winners. There were just six answers to choose from here, but who did our Rock ā€˜nā€™ Roll Kids choose?

Six people are shouting Why Me, as two-time winner Johnny Logan is the big Sheep

Lorcan, Mam, Shane and Wichi are all tied, and Zaph opens us a significant lead on his opponent, while Neowise holds a slender lead also

There is Norway everyone gave the same answer here, so who will taste Swede victory, and who will be left feeling Dane and out? (Iā€™m so sorry)

ABBA once said The Winner Takes It All, and that is exactly what Sweden does here

Lorcan and Shane open up big leads on their opponents, Zaph takes a massive step towards the Quarter Final, while Neowise maintains a slender 4-point lead

ROUND 1B, Q3 of 3

The final question of Round 1, but did people go for our local Newgrange, or the globally-recognised Pyramids of Giza?

Ironically, Newgrange ends up on top of the pyramid, in more ways than one

Zaph and Lorcan retain their leads, and will now face each other in the Quarter Final. Shane also advances to the next stage where he will face Seph, who successfully mounts a last-minute comeback

I sucked at my questions but sheeped on two of these..
A quick check-in on the race for the Golden Hoof, and we see that Zaph leads the way, followed closely by Edser

Despite being eliminated from the tournament, Nothing lies in joint-3rd place, while Seph is in the Quarter Final despite being second-last. Such are the heartbreaks and joys of cup competitions Big Grin

QUARTER FINALS, Q1 of 3

There was one gigantic Sheep up next, and if you didnā€™t hit it, well then youā€™re going to be in a lot of trouble. Where did our Quarter Finalists loyalties lie?

Itā€™s a blooming disaster for two of our Quarter Finalists!

Liz falls way behind in her match against Edser, while Shane has such a big lead over Seph that he books a place in the Semi Final with a question to spare

Itā€™s all-drama to conclude the quarter finals!

Edser maintains a healthy lead over Liz despite scoring an ace. They will meet Leg End, who ousts EN by a single, solitary point in the final leg of the Quarter Final

Butā€¦

Zaph and Lorcan have finished their match level on points, which mean we must go to a tie-breaker to determine who will face Shane in the Semi Final

How do we solve a tie-breaker, you ask? Wellā€¦
