I was just curious about which users here have NOT come to Forum of Games through Boards.ie.

Is there any?

jluv spent some time with us on of Boards in the first half of 2021 but didn't make it here. She entered my post migration Summer Sheep on nuBoards but when I finally did the reveal here she wasn't around.

There are a few on this forum who I suspect came from "outside", but I can't be sure, especially as some changed their usernames for here.

There are a lot here I'm not familar with the names I'm guessing they changed them.

Unless you were from boards or a friend of someone here, how else would you find here, we're hardly too high on Google search.

Regarding the opposite, I quite miss purple and purgative.

Purgative is signed up but has not been very active. As regards Purple, Purple Tin does not seem to be here but Purple Mountain is!


I saw a reply from another user today that I don't recall seeing on Boards. I know there are some that shortened their usernames when they migrated to here but are still pretty recognisable. Also Starring Levar Burton (or whatever they called themselves on Boards!) came here with a similar username before announcing they were changing to Rachel Stevens on a Pogo Stick (as you do!)!! Check out the Member List - definitely a few names new to me since Boards, some of whom are quite active on ForumofGames.

Born in Homerton and lived in Hackney and then Walthamstow till I was about 4, slight detour to Southampton for 6 months then moved to Ireland.

I miss both them too.

I was sure Purg had joined here, but doesn't seem to be playing 

Miss the tin man too. He always had some bonkers song submitted which made things interesting . They didn't always go down well with everyone, but they are certainly missed in the games.

I've seen Strawbs, LadySkunk, Ectoplasm and Bubblypop here.

Pretty sure I've seen Barney and JohnGreenFan too.

There's a good few on that list that joined but are not playing.

Shelly is now Turiel over here. But the same, she hasn't been around much since she joined
