Hey gang, just for fun...
After Aaron's House of Games I thought about doing a Christmas version but never got anywhere with it. I half wrote one round, so I'll throw it up for fun
I'll let Aaron explain the concept...

In this round, I have changed one letter in the names of four TV shows, and created a description of that new programme based on its new name. I will post that new description, and it is your job to determine what the name of the new show is
Two sample questions:
Sample Q1: Combat machines are treated in hospital for their injuries
Sample A1: Robot Ward
Sample Q2: Ryan Tubridy hosts an after-dark talk how in which people try to find love
Sample A2: The Late Date Show
But these are Christmas songs initially. So every answer is a Christmas song with one letter changed.
- Chimes on tinder
- A story about the Big Apple's razor shortage
- Something for a mini Ringo Starr to play with
- E(minem)17
- Father Christmas will visit the eastmost of the six counties
- The season passes so quickly, it's just wham! and it's over
- Tony The Tiger takes Hugh Jackman's role as PT Barnum
- Watch the boxing on mute
- Going on a holiday in a really old car, or sausage?
- Edgerton or Matip? Edgerton or Matip? Edgerton, definitely!
No PMs, no scoring, just for fun!
I'll stick the answers up tomorrow sometime and you can declare your score then, if you like
Merry Christmas!
Think I have half of them... Will need to think more on others
Oooh I have 1
these are hard, only one I'm sure of at first read!
Happy Christmas EN!
Yes! Have them all I think! Thanks @
E.N.
Same... 7 took me the longest, although I did come up with a funny answer if we were playing a different game
I have two equally valid answers for one of them as well

7 took me ages too!
Ok I have four, and three I think I know the songs but not what I need to change

I found it easier when I wrote them down

It would probably be easier if I hadn't drank as much wine
I don't think 7 was that bad once I sat down and thought about. I have some ideas for 4 and 9 but have not fully figured them out, but 10...

Google the two in 10 and you'll get it
Well I got 7 without google anyway so I suppose I can give in
No. 9 took me way too long to figure out. Only got it now!
Googled 10, it is easy once you know
Have worked out 9, that just leaves 4... I have an idea but I can't make it work hmmm.... Must give it more thought.
Some very clever and humorous riddles but I haven't a clue on 1,3,7 and 10.
I'm stumped with 5 and 9. I know the word 9 is looking for but can't think of the song.
Actually I don't know the song in 4 either!
I've just got #3
I think
9 is tricky cos the letter change also changes the pronunciation
Figured out 4 and 9!
Just need 5 now for a full house.
I got #7.
1 and 10 still have me stumped.
I have an answer for 4 but I'm not sure it is right, it feels a little... Disjointed? Just have to wait and see what EN says!
Just figured out 5! I misread the question as the 6 most eastern counties in Ireland!
Hope you enjoyed them

Well I had four despite my doubts, but my letter of choice for 6 wasn't quite the right one
Thanks EN I had some good fun figuring these out
I'll give myself 9.5/10 - I missed out the first word in Q10
An alternative answer for Q1 I though could also be:
SpoilerShow Content
Mingle Bells
And I was stuck on Q7 for ages, all I could think of was:

The Grrrreatest Showman
I think I can only claim 8.5... I googled the names in 10 and I had the letter wrong in 6
I like both your suggestions aaron
Opps, I just got Stan because I thought the East17 song was just called Stay.
Good fun though and clever questions, thanks Nitters!

Same!
Also struggled with grrrrreatest snowman! Til the frosties connection hit me
I got 8 right. 1 and 10 were too much for me. All I could think of for 10 was Taron, Elton John, Rocketman, Kingsman. A dead end.
I still don't understand the answer for #10, could someone explain it in spoiler mode?

I had that same thought!
Google the two surnames, you'll get it then.
