You know the movie but do you know the year?

I will post 50 movies, your can guess what year each was released
No year has more than movie
For each year you are out, you get 1 penalty point, the player with the least points will be the winner
I will post a poster of each movie so there should be no confusion if there are multiple movies of the same name. Each movie will have had theatrical release (to best of Googles knownledge) so their will be nothing too obscure.

I'm happy to do just as badly in this as I did in the music. Bring it on!

Oh this is not going to be as easy as the music but fantastic all the same. Do we have a date range? Or can they be from anytime whatsoever?

It's hard to know if it will be harder than the music until you see what the selection is.

Quick question, do you want me to post posters, I think they are all fairly obvious and well known. I will post the list and you can let me know if you need specific info like actors in it or posters, save me post posting 50 posters. Does that sound ok?

I found it easier than the music edition but it was still kinda tricky, i thought some of these movies came out in the same year

1927.

I didn't Google that. It comes from Bill Bryson's book, One Summer - 1927 about all the interesting things that happened that year (Lindberg flew the Atlantic too), which included the first talkie.

Same here. I had multiple films for the same year and then had to move them to a year nearby I hadnt used.

So less confident than the music, never even heard of some of them

I've seen about 36 of them but I'd know most of the others by reputation.

The Warriors and Guardians of the Galaxy are the only 2 I havent seen. That doesnt mean I remember the correct year though!
