I don't think I can handle this pressure!
Am surprised the 50/50 left Delaware. They always say on the TV show that it's randomised, but too often it was always the two most likely answers (in my opinion) that were left.
I knew it was Montana or Wyoming, so I took a punt on it. I punted wrong. Sad

Think of the player you might call as a friend
Ha ha, that is a hilarious fail rate pac

(28-10-2021, 05:39 PM)quickbeam Wrote: [ -> ]My rationale was that Alabama was far too big.  Delaware was high density but a small state so a potential candidate, but probably not.  Which left Montana and Wyoming.  I thought Montana was more mountainous (it's right there in the name) and would therefore have less population.
My logic exactly!

At least I didn't waste my Ask The Audience Big Grin

This is a @tusk site/production, I'm just the presenter. I'm waiting to get paid also Smile
Tomorrows question is probably my favourite of the game.

The pressure will be all on you then @Trigger! Unless it's Munster rugby. @Kol can the question be on Munster rugby please?
I should have used my 50-50 lifelines 2 questions back (Amazon). I guessed correctly the answer for the last question (Gershwin), but I don't know if I would have banked it at that stage if I was still in it. If I had, I would have been having another punt - I guessed Montana like the majority of the audience!

Only losers blame others when they lose Tongue
Wyoming being correct means I'm doing much better since eliminated.
Welcome back. Todays question is worth 125,000 Euros.

With just 2 contestants still playing, do we see mind games starting, remember the contestant who leaves with the most money will be the winner.

Let's play, Who wants to be a FoG millionaire

fuck
Most of us are gone so now you start asking the easy questions.  Typical!  Big Grin
Easy??? My pop culture reference for this is Moone Boy, but don't think they mentioned the city. If they did, I've no idea.

I've seen so many repeats of this in Reeling in the Years that I should know it too.
I remember that and think I know where it happened. If I know a sports question I think we should all get to rejoin this.

Least populated state ... pffffffttttttttt! Tongue
Too young to remember this  Tongue

US geography, i know most of the states names, but no idea of populations, not even sure of overall population of the usa.
a rough guess would be under a billion. i think rhode island is smallest state, which if correct is just a remnant of some quiz where i probably got it wrong.

I know nothing at all about soccer. I know obviously about Ialia 90, and Jack Charlton, and as a teenager had a major crush on Phil Babb and Jason McAteer. That's almost the full extent of my Irish soccer knowledge. Oh and whatever players are named in Joxer goes to Stuttgart Big Grin
But the session it ended when we'd finished all the stout
The air mattresses inflated and the sleeping bags rolled out
As one by one we fell asleep Joxer had a dream
He dreamt himself and Jack Charlton sat down to pick the team.

Joxer dreamt they both agreed on Packie Bonner straightaway
And that Moran, Whelan and McGrath were certainly to play
But tempers they began to rise and patience wearing thin
Jack wanted Cascarino but Joxer wanted Quinn.

The dream turned into a nightmare, Joxer stuck the head on Jack
Who wanted to bring Johnny Giles and Eamon Dunphy back
The cock crew in the morning, it crew both loud and shrill
Joxer woke up in his sleeping bag many miles from Arbour Hill.
Stuck in my head now! Thanks for that @cee_jay
Both players have answered and the majority of the audience have also, I will press ahead with the result.

I think I might post the next question also today as the weekend is approaching and I won't be around to post much
I remember the penalties well. It was the first tournament I ever watched, and USA '94 was the last. I couldn't tell you where any of the matches were held though.

@cee_jay Yes to Babb & McAteer (I don't think they debuted until '94 though) and Gary Kelly too - the three amigos, I think they were called.

Surprised no Naples, they hosted some decent games in Italia 90
Took a complete shot in the dark at that one, based purely on there being a few pizzaria or Italian chipper places called Genoa
The loss to Italy was in Rome I think.

Think we played in the group stages in against England in Cagliari.. not sure where the others were played

We also only lost 1 game over there, the game against Italy.

Drew the rest Big Grin

He also (allegedly) asked for his pizza to be cut into 4 slices rather than 6 because he wasn't that hungry. Big Grin

Listen to the live version, it's brilliant.

Actually, I'm not sure I've ever heard the studio version.
