This time I won't be looking for different Categories.

Going to keep this short and sweet. What I'm looking for is 5 songs that would make up your own mini album.

I will score each song individually and then collectively for how they tie together into an album. There is a restriction of 2 songs per artist/band

Any genre goes but the whole album must be from a single Genre, so choose your genre and order carefully.

I've no timeline on it at the mo, so no rush to get an entry in.

(Minus points for anyone who even thinks about submitting Meatloaf)

Nice idea, consider me in. I do wonder though if keeping the album to one genre retricts it, if you're not a fan its game over.

Any retrictions on how many songs per artist? Do we name the album?

While I have personal favourites, I pretty much listen to any genre, and really appreciate a good song, be it ,pop, Country, Rock etc 

I wasn't going to have a limit on songs per artist but the more I think of it I think I'll restrict it to 2 maybe, I'll update OP now.

I'm all for naming the album, which would be fun at reveal time.

Another point of note.. you could make up the album using Sub genres.

For example A Rock album could have songs from indie, alt, metal and grunge etc

I'm in, interesting way of doing a walrus, hard though.

I'm in. Enjoyed picking a genre and the selections. Not sure if Trigger will enjoy them as much as I did though!

I'm actually pretty easy when it comes to music, apart from he who shall not be named, sure its all a bit of fun at the end of the day, and last is already sewn up so you needn't worry there

Definitely pick songs you like.
Everyone plays it differently. Personally I try to pick songs I like that I don't think are that well known that I hope the judge will like. Mostly though, pick songs that, if they don't like, you know it's their fault not yours

I have a half-baked theme and album title, I just need to decide on the songs, get the right producer, managers, PR guru etc and I'll be set ...

Have a genre (of sorts), a title and four songs. As soon as I find a fifth I'm happy with I'll fire mine in.

*I'm not sure one really counts as a song, but an album needs a unique intro, right?!

I was in "a band" in college and we were going to call our debut album David Hasselhoff & The Mysterious Village of Jelly Babies That Live In His Chest Hair, but since we never got around to ever even picking up an instrument, if you're really struggling to come up with a title, feel free to use that one...
