Well, here I go dipping my toes into the sheepy waters! Please sign up as it would a bit embarrassing to be left hanging  Big Grin hopefully I wont make a balls of it.

For this one google* is allowed, in fact it’s strongly advised as I might be showing my age quite a bit with the topics! I’m sure you all know the drill better than I do - there are no wrong answers, only low scoring ones.    * other search engines are allowed too…

Music - 1. An obvious one to start with. Name a Glen Campbell song apart from ‘Wichita Lineman’  -
2. Other than ‘From a Distance’ name a Nanci Griffith song –

Science next – 1. Name an element that starts with a vowel –
2. Name a celebrity inventor –

Sport – 1. Name an Irish professional golfer (past or present) who wasn’t born in Co. Offaly –
2. Name an English soccer team that starts with an S –

Politics – 1. Name any former President of the USA. (Minus points for anyone naming the one with a head that looks like a poorly combed basketball.)
2. Name any female TD in the current Irish Dail –

TV – 1. Might be a chance for a big score as there are only 6 to choose from – name a ‘Friends’ character who appeared in all 235 episodes –
2. Name a TV quiz programme -

Geography – 1. Name anywhere in Co. Wicklow that starts with the letter G –
2. Name a county in Ireland you would love to move to –

Literature – 1. Name a Charles Dickens character that doesn’t appear in a title of any of his novels –
2. Name a novel by Roddy Doyle excluding the Barrytown Trilogy of ‘The Commitments’ / ‘The Snapper’ / ‘The Van’ ) –

Film – 1. Name any movie in which Cary Grant appears –
2. And finally – a sort of hypothetical one – who do you think will replace Daniel Craig as James Bond?

Please PM your answers to me.

I'll likely close sign-ups at some stage Sunday or Monday depending on numbers, with the reveal a day or two later. Right now I'm off to find out how the scoring system thingy works!!!
I'll get these in later but have a quick question - is a celebrity inventor just a well-known one or an actual celebrity who invented something?

I see what you mean. I was thinking of it as a celebrity well known for other stuff (sports / author / entertainment etc etc) who has invented something.
Will definitely be entering later!

I'm OK with that one, but who knew Nanci Griffith had more than one song? Huh Big Grin
Smile Will give this a go later.
Yeah, I was okay with Glen Campbell. “who knew Nanci Griffith had more than one song?”. Who knew she even had that song??? I only know Bette Midler for that song.

Oddly enough, I only discovered a few weeks ago that Bette Midler did a version of it, I only knew the Nanci Griffith version.  Fwiw, I fcuking hate that song with a passion, no matter who sings it!
6 full entries so far with the promise of a few more. I'm very happy with that start for my first foray into the murky underbelly of running a sheep. I think I'm ok with the sheepulator and I'm happy I've got that working which is a great relief.

Some very interesting answers!!
In!
I said I wouldn't, but here I am again! Incidentally, I know plenty of Nanci Griffith songs so I probably won't pick the Sheep answer!
Woohoo, well done Wichita!

I also just gave my favourite answers a few times, so I won't be winning Tongue
Finally in! Super set of questions Smile
16 so far. I'm not around much until Sunday evening so I'm going to close Monday 4th @5pm with the reveal to follow - around 8 or 9 pm. I'll confirm ASAP. Does that sound ok?

Sounds great ... if I win. Big Grin
I will get mine in either tonight or tomorrow. I was googling professional Irish golfers earlier and somehow ended up looking up professional Irish boxers.

I know there's no such thing as wrong answers in sheep, but  Big Grin...
