I live 5 minutes from the Blanch Centre and remember when it was being filmed there, but I've never actually had any huge compulsion to see the film, despite it featuring and being named after my all-time favourite song.
Somewhat vaguely related, we watch David Byrne's American Utopia last night, a concert movie by Spike Lee of the Broadway show. We saw the show in The Point when it came here and it was the most incredible thing I've ever experienced. Even if you're not particularly a Talking Heads or David Byrne fan, the show itself is so different to any other gig you've been to (I won't spoil why that is) that it's worth watching. It does lose a little on film compared to the live experience because naturally the camera focuses in on certain things at times, whereas you're seeing the whole performance in person, but the ending has to be the most joyous ending of any gig ever.
