I work short term contracts, so it was planned. Hoping not to get more work until we're in the new house, but still don't know when that's going to be, so fingers crossed it's soon

It not always easy changing jobs, but it's better to call it a day when you know that its no longer suiting you.
I hadn't anything lined up when I handed in my notice, but I knew it was the right time to leave.
Luckily though, I did end up finding something else.

That's so true.
I was actually getting a bit worried myself because I thought I was being a bit too selective. (Covid has had a big influence on what I want).
I had been to a few interviews, and offered positions, but decided not to take them because I felt that I would be walking into the same situation as before.
The place I'm going to now though seems like it was worth the hassle.
I got a great feel from interview, and the rest of the staff I was introduced to were all very welcoming.
Time will tell, but I'm feeling positive...
