@lorcand1990 how are you doing with the "fresh" weather in Chicago?

I believe yesterday was ridiculous cold... even in Fahrenheit.
On the plus side, you don't need a fridge. 😂

Something else alright, in 4 hours the temp went from -1 to -20 celcius. -22 today but wind chill of -35! No more snow forecast at least but the wind would cut through you, can't be out in it for 5 mins without full gear on

We got an unwelcome Christmas guest this year in the form of the winter vomiting bug 😕

My mum, the in-laws, my wife and both kids all had/have it over the last few days. Somehow I've avoided it, but I've not slept for a couple of nights now with the kids and my wife being ill. Such crap timing, my mum spent Christmas Day in bed, the first time she's been here for it

Looks like everyone's getting over it now, at least. And the kids have been real troopers. My stomach is starting to feel a bit dodgy though... 🙈

It's rampant down here too . Our family get together on Tuesday was cancelled, between some having the flu , chicken pox and the vomiting bug. . . (Different people different bugs).

We were due to be going to Adare Manor for a night today, when I phoned to postpone they said they'd had a few people saying the same. Luckily they were sound, so hopefully we'll make it on Sunday. We got engaged there, so it's a nice nostalgia trip, as well as a kid free night in a really nice spot Smile
