Oops, nearly forgot about this one. Good that there's a lil delay. I might get to make the actual reveal so🤞

Looking forward to the Madonna covers. I through together a quick submission, but the Madonna round has a few bad covers & I got bored after listening to a couple of songs.

Hopefully there's a nice find in the mix by the other players 🙂

My first time hearing this version and very enjoyable, good guitar

@Irish Aris gives us Hot Chip with Dancing in the Dark

Very 80s and enjoyable, infectious

Next up @Kol gives us Witness Festband with Hungry Heart

Now I didn't hate it, very wedding band cover but did not love it either, I just was not grabbed by her voice

As said above my first time hearing this version and very enjoyable, good guitar

@Rachel Stevens on a Pogo Stick provides us Dancing in the Dark from Of Monsters and Men

I heard this version once before but did not know the artist, enjoyed it then and still enjoy it, their vocals compliment each other, lovely version

@Leg End Reject gives us married country couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill with Tougher than the Rest

I think for me it would be better as a Tim solo who does sound similar to Bruce

@Spears gives us Sam Fender with Atlantic City

I think he could do a full Bruce covers album, he does reminds me of Bruce in his sound on some of his own songs, one of my favourite Bruce songs, really enjoyed it

Lastly we have @Edser with Frankie Goes to Hollywood with Born To Run

This was new to me and they did a very good job

Glad you liked the song Liz. I don't know many of Brucies songs, & had no idea if the original was even credible or not. But I liked the sound of this cover so that's why I chose it.

I feel still slightly traumatised and do need a prayer, not sure this metal cover is for me

This surprised me, nice voice and take on the song, new to me

A nice powerful version of both songs, beautifully done

This was new to me, very haunting and stays with you, lovely cover

A dance take that many have heard before maybe even before the original depending your age, it still holds up and reminds me of my teenage disco days so happy to see it entered, it has aged well

When I was looking up covers, I listened to a few baaaad ones & gave up.
Decided thst Madonna songs just didn't cover well. But there's a few decent ones in the round. & I hadn't came across ANY of them myself.

Rachel's song - I know they are a parody band but I still really enjoyed that cover 😏

Enjoyed Aris song choice too. Although I felt labyrinth struggled a tad in parts of the song & Madge looked a bit bored lol.
I like a lot of Madonna's songs but Like a Prayer & Frozen are my two favourite. Frozen taken the top spot.. I was obsessed with this song, & love the video off it too.

Turned out to be a better round than I expected 😊

@Butty Brennan gives us Foy Vance with Purple Rain

Not an easy song to cover but the emotion in this version makes it really stand out

@Declan A Walsh gives us Saxon with Ride like the Wind

I was not familiar with the original but I listened after this and much prefer this rock version, I was air guitaring so a good pick that I enjoyed

@Kol gives the unique husky voiced Bonnie Tyler with Don't Turn Around

I think she could sing anything and it would sound unique

What can I say about his haunting raw version, just superb, lingers with you

@ari101 gives us Boyce Avenue with Zombie

It is not easy for anyone to take on Dolores unique sound but Boyce bring his own take on it really well, a really good cover

@Irish Aris gives us Minute Taker wth Running up that Hill

I do like Kate and Placebo's versions but this slowed down piano arrangement was just lovely, brought a sense of melancholy if that is right word

I just associate this song with him, he made it his own, amazing version another air guitaring

@Rachel Stevens on a Pogo Stick gives us Halocene with What I've Done

This was new to me, I do like Linkin Park's original but this cover was very unique, they made it their own, lovely blending voices, you always find a top ace music maestro, well done

@Spears gives us Smith & Myers with In the Air Tonight

Again new to me and this was an amazing cover, great voice, great pick

@Leg End Reject gives us Aurora with Life on Mars

Another newbie for me, it is different but after a few listens it really stays with you and appreciate her vocal style
