There's a few different versions of the game on  wikipedia. One of them has human classes and demi-human classes.

Edit: Too slow, what Nothing said. Humans and WoodElf  technically not classes but races.

Like you would have a Human Fighter, or a Half-Orc Barbarian, or a Dwarven Cleric. One bit is the race, and one bit is the class.
