RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - cee_jay - 07-01-2022 My decorations come down 9n 6th January. No sooner. My fingers hurt this evening as my decorations this year were mostly Lego, so I had to dismantle a few sets. RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - nothing - 01-09-2022 Sigh, time to start thinking about presents so any online deliveries come in good time and time to think about the plans for the day itself. Hoping to have everything bought before Halloween. Yeah, yeah, too early. Had an email that dropchef are doing a Christmas box, would be a better option for me as it'll be portioned for one. Don't think I'll be bothering with visiting family, I'm not actually too bothered with the day itself, not religious and the pressure of the day really gets to me. I just like a nice quiet day, with good food, decent tv and if I'm lucky a few presents to unwrap. Maybe starting so early is an anxiety coping mechanism... "For all those meaty files" RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - DejaBoo - 17-09-2022 Woohoo, we are in the double digit countdown to Christmas (don't judge me ) RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - Butty Brennan - 18-09-2022 I don't usually start to think about floppy red hat time until pointy black hat time has finished. But I am obsessing about Christmas hols and getting time off from work which has been mad busy. But the dates this year are nightmare. Of course I'm not allowed to finish work early, so I'll have to pay a fortune to go home. This was the only weekend we could book though, obviously popular) so we did the tree today. I think the santa thing and our lodge were decent value though, and it was nice place. Restaurant was overpriced and average, but not bad RE: The Foggies Christmas thread - ari101 - 26-11-2022 I bought new LED xmas lights today - I figure the investment will save enough electricity within a couple of years and is safer than rolling our the incandescent ones again they are all at least 8 years old 😂 The tree however will not be going up to after the 8th!!! 😅 |
