Idris Elba's just been talked about so much I thought he'd sheep While he'd make a great Bond, Idris Elba is 49, he's far too old to take over the role. They might get one film out of him, two at a push, but then they'd be back to square one. Even at 44 Tom Hardy might be a little old, but I think he suits more rugged characters anyway, rather than the smooth and sophisticated Bond. Tom Hiddleston was my shout, but with Loki commitments possibly going on a while yet, he could be out of the running. I think Richard Madden ticks a lot of boxes from an age and not too high a profile point of view, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get it. |
