Lighting a match over barrels of oil between the hours of 11 and 2 is not encouraged.

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - NNAHere - 04-12-2021

You're actually rather vaguely on the right track.

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - Butty Brennan - 04-12-2021

Burning the midnight oil?

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - NNAHere - 04-12-2021

As safe as houses?

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - NNAHere - 07-12-2021

As safe as a house was the intention (single house) but you're close enough @aaronjennings

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - aaronjennings - 08-12-2021

Clue: The answer is something we all learned in school

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - NNAHere - 08-12-2021

I think I will need to go back to school because I don't remember anything which might relate to the image.

I have tried a nonsensical jumble of 'Ireland for the Irish', 'Irish Sea for Eire', '40 shades of green' and tried to make something out of 'Ireland's Eye' etc. Nope, going nowhere...

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - aaronjennings - 08-12-2021

The picture is indeed the Irish Sea

However, Ireland does not appear anywhere in the answer

And the thing we learned in school was not learned in Georgraphy or History

Think about the orientation of the letters, and where they are in relation to the picture

I could have equally done this clue with any number of IEs and EIs, I just chose a random number to hint that there are multiple examples of each

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - NNAHere - 08-12-2021

Well you were closer than I - the water shape  reminded me of Ursula the Sea Witch,  then Old McDonald and his singing farm animals came to mind, EI-EI-Ohhhhhhh !

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - NNAHere - 12-12-2021

No, no and no.

I'll give a clue after the next guesses (if requested)

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - DejaBoo - 12-12-2021

Help is the cornerstone of the home.... ?

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - NNAHere - 12-12-2021

It may well be but it isn't the answer Smile

RE: Catchphrase - The Reboot - NNAHere - 13-12-2021

Some clues:

* The top image shows the correct 'interpretation' of the phrase- the difference is where the word 'help' appears.
* Think of synonyms for 'help'.

I have been lacking imagination recently, even struggling to come up with a semi-usable catchphrase! Hope you all 'enjoy' this (relatively straightforward?) one Smile
